Domum is a small town architecture firm that delivers big city quality. Our home base is in Rocklin, CA where we enjoy quick and easy access to the San Francisco Bay Area, Sacramento, Silicon Valley, Stockton, Napa, Marin County, and everywhere in between. We are passionate about architecture and have done it most of our lives.
As licensed Architects in California, Alabama, Arizona, Colorado, Nevada, Utah and Idaho. We are experienced in residential new construction, remodels and additions, multifamily, and developments. As well as commercial new construction, tenant improvements including but not limited to, retail, business, office, bar, brewery, and restaurant, and self-storage facilities. We are skilled at building on flat lots, hillsides, remote locations off the grid, in flood planes, beach front properties, and properties with difficult neighbors and challenging site constraints.
We specialize in solving unsolvable problems. We are constantly learning and pushing ourselves. We use fun tools like BIM and Virtual Reality, where we essentially build our projects in 3D and work out the problems long before construction starts. This results in better, more efficient designs, lower costs, and fewer change orders.

We recognize that as Architects we play an important role in shaping our communities and making a difference in people’s lives. We know that often those who need quality architecture services are not able to pay for it. That is why we budget part of our time to pro-bono projects and encourage our employees to volunteer and give back to the community. History
Domum opened it’s doors in 2011 as a full service Architecture firm. In the early days it was named after its two principal Architects as “de Jesus and Alatorre Architects, Inc.” Following several years of success and growth we re-branded as Domum in early 2016. This change was made to reflect the growing company extending beyond just the principal architects and refocus on the core values of the company as a team and partner, not just internally, but with our consultants and clients as well. Over it’s history the firm has continued to grow designing tens of millions of dollars worth of construction each year.
